Glenn Ward – Brief history
Finished A-levels – Business Studies, Art and PE > Trained to be a watersports instructor at the UKSA > Wrote an idea for a television show – got made “Around the World in 80 Raves” for Channel 4 > Did some production work > Went back to teaching windsurfing at Moon Beach in Egypt > Worked for a charter company and did many Yacht deliveries including transatlantics > Studied Media Studies and Design for Digital Media at Chichester University > Worked for numerous online retailers > Currently Digital Media Executive for one of the largest Market Research companies.
I shall be writing about all of the above and sharing what I have learnt. The main topics for discussion will be my obsession with the web, applications and web 2. My findings as I work more and more with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 and its supporting programs, making the transition from an loyal final cut pro editor to Adobe convert.
I shall also post up some of the guides I produce to help others with technical bits and bobs and especially post solutions to things that has taken me days to figure out when if there was somewhere to look I could have learnt it in minutes.
Finally I shall talk about my travels and other experiences outside of the Digital Media field and share what I have learnt during my many differnet walks of life.
